COLLEGIATE ADVISORY PLACEMENT SERVICES: An Independent Educational Consulting Team which was founded in 1984. Meet our team.

 

Adele R. WilliamsonAdele R. Williamson, Founder of Collegiate Advisory Placement Service, received her BA from Sophie Newcomb College of Tulane University. She has been a professional volunteer and consultant to Student Life Divisions Administrators at over 300 hundred colleges and universities in the United States. She is a former member of the National Women Deans Counselors and Administrators and has been a program presenter at their National Conferences. She has also been an affiliate member of the National Association of Student Personnel Administrators and the Association of Fraternity Advisors. Adele is a Past Chairman of the National Panhellenic Conference as well as Past National President of her National Women’s Fraternity. Her leadership skills and community missionary spirit have served many different organizations and causes. She has lived on many college campuses and understands the students, campus atmosphere, faculty, and administration as well as the mission of hundreds of colleges and universities. Adele has been a frequent speaker and presentor at conferences and seminars. In her work with students, she stresses the value of community service and assists them with writing grants to support service projects they initiate. She was named Sophie Newcomb College of Tulane University Alumna of the Year for Community Service in 2010.

Nancy W. CadwalladerNancy W. Cadwallader, CEP, has been a member of the Collegiate Advisory Placement Service team since it was founded. She received her BFA from Sophie Newcomb College of Tulane University and her MFA from Tulane University. She has been an active volunteer in her church, community and throughout the region as well as on many college and university campuses throughout the United States. She has been a frequent speaker and presentor at Conferences such as IECA, SACAC, Small Boarding Schools and local and state seminars. Nancy is active in IECA and has served on the Board of Directors, Nominating Committee, Parliamentarian, as well as a member of the long range task force committee. As a Certified Educational Planner she regularly attends and participates in workshops and conferences for continuing education in the areas of ADD/ADHD, Psychological Testing Evaluations; Learning Disabilities/Learning Styles; Behavior Management; Adoption Issues; College Trends; as well as Graduate/Professional Schools testing and procedures. She travels throughout the United States to visit colleges/universities, boarding schools, as well as behavioral and emotional growth programs. In November 2010, Nancy was honored by the Independent Small Alliance Programs for her service to the profession and students.
